As February approaches, Xbox gamers should prepare for a slew of server shutdowns. If you’re one to chase those elusive in-game achievements, you’ll want to note the games losing online support come February 2025.
Imminent Xbox Server Shutdowns for February 2025:
- Divine Knockout — February 17, 2025
- Realm Royale Reforged — February 17, 2025
- EA Sports UFC 3 — February 17, 2025
- Hood: Outlaws and Legends — February 18, 2025
- Dark Alliance — February 24, 2025
- The Golf Club — February 28, 2025
- The Golf Club 2 — February 28, 2025
- KartRider: Drift — February 28, 2025
- Disco Dodgeball Remix — February 28, 2025
Here’s a closer look at how these changes will affect each game:
Divine Knockout:
In October, Hi-Rez Studios made headlines with layoffs and a shift in focus towards Smite 2, confirming the server closures for both Divine Knockout and Realm Royale Reforged on February 17. The upcoming downtime spells the end for all 19 achievements in Divine Knockout. Planning to grab the full 1,000G? Carve out about eight hours to make it happen.
Realm Royale Reforged:
Also caught up in Hi-Rez Studios’ restructuring, this online-only battle royale boasts 20 achievements that won’t be accessible after February 17. If you’re aiming for the full 1,000G, you’ll be looking at around 15 hours and might want to peek at our Realm Royale Reforged guide for tips.
EA Sports UFC 3:
After entertaining fans for five years, EA Sports UFC 3 will bow out on February 17, taking 15 of its achievements with it. Though the game has vanished from the Microsoft Store, subscribers to Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play can still lace up for some MMA action.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends:
Server closures for Hood: Outlaws and Legends are slated for February 18. Since multiplayer is crucial for this PvPvE game, all 50 achievements will be retired. With about 80 hours needed for completion, the clock is ticking. And if you don’t own it yet, you’re out of luck; the game is already gone from the Microsoft Store.
Dark Alliance:
The lights will go out for Dark Alliance on February 24, affecting four online-only Xbox achievements. The same day, Tuque Games and Wizards of the Coast plan to delist this action-RPG from the store.
The Golf Club:
Back in December, HB Studios and 2K Sports broke the news about server closures for their older Golf Club titles. By February 28, servers will shut for The Golf Club, nixing six online achievements. The game’s been delisted digitally, so if you’re set on completing it, you’ll need a physical copy.
The Golf Club 2:
Following its predecessor, The Golf Club 2 will see four online achievements vanish after its February 28 shutdown. Just like the first game, it’s gone from digital storefronts, so a physical version is your best bet for latecomers.
KartRider: Drift:
Nexon, back in August, announced the closure of their free-to-play racing title KartRider: Drift, set for February 28. Of the 28 achievements, 22 will disappear. Already removed from the store, those aiming for completion must act fast.
Disco Dodgeball Remix:
Rounding out the list is Disco Dodgeball Remix, losing online multiplayer support on February 28. Luckily, no achievements here are online-only, so there’s no rush to finish. However, once delisted, it’ll be gone for good as there’s no physical option available.
If any of these are still on your to-play list, now’s the time to strategize before they vanish from the digital realm.
