Before Storm’s buff, I was utterly devoted to Jeff the Land Shark, reveling in the sheer joy of unleashing his ultimate move to consume enemy clusters and vanquish them by diving into the abyss. Jeff’s skills became so notoriously effective that even the game director chimed in with tips on how to dodge his deadly ultimate move.
However, Storm’s newfound prowess has taken gameplay to another dimension. Within mere moments of playing her beefed-up version, I found myself racking up a ten-KO spree. The update supercharges Storm in three vital areas: her Wind Blade attack now travels faster and deals increased damage, her Bolt Rush packs a heftier punch, and her ultimate not only boosts her health but depletes it at an accelerated rate.
Surviving her ferocious tornado attack might seem daunting, but if you manage it, your best bet is to flee. PCGamer points out that the ideal strategy against Storm involves spreading out, a tactic also effective against Jeff’s ultimate now that its height has been curbed, giving Storm a better chance of survival.
