Nintendo has announced the broadcast times for the highly anticipated Nintendo Direct event, focused on the Nintendo Switch 2, set for Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
You’ll be able to catch this presentation live at different times depending on your location: 6 AM Pacific Time, 9 AM Eastern Time, 2 PM British Summer Time, or 3 PM Central European Summer Time. However, Nintendo hasn’t mentioned how long the show will run.
Last month, the Nintendo Switch 2 finally made its debut, bringing an end to the swirl of rumors and leaked information that had been circulating about what would follow the original Switch. This announcement was made through a brief video that not only unveiled the console’s design but also gave a sneak peek at an upcoming Mario Kart game, while reassuring fans that the new system would maintain backward compatibility with existing Switch titles.
Nintendo has made it clear that the Switch 2 will support both physical cartridges and digital downloads from the original Switch library. However, a word of caution has been issued that some games might not work or be fully compatible with the new system.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is slated for a global release in 2025, although the exact launch date is still under wraps.
