Microsoft has rolled out an exciting new feature for its Edge browser, aptly named Game Assist.
In a recent blog post, the tech company introduced this feature, which is currently available as a preview. Game Assist is essentially an in-game browser designed to offer players tips and tricks while they’re gaming. You can find it tucked away in the Game Bar.
Microsoft’s research highlights that a significant 88% of PC gamers tend to leave their games mid-play just to search for tips online. Furthermore, the company points out that “around 40% of players actively seek out strategies, guides, and support during their gaming sessions.”
Game Assist aims to streamline this process by providing immediate access to valuable game-related resources every time a user opens a new tab. Initially, this preview is available in English and supports several popular PC games. Microsoft is keen on refining this feature based on user feedback.
Currently, Edge Game Assist is compatible with a variety of well-known titles, including Baldur’s Gate 3, Diablo 4, Fortnite, Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga, League of Legends, Minecraft, Overwatch 2, Roblox, and Valorant.
