Before time manipulation became a buzzword with the DS, there were pioneers in the gaming world tackling this concept.
Next year, fans of thought-provoking narratives are in for a treat as some standout early projects from a renowned scenario writer get a facelift for the Switch, all while eliminating the need for fan translations.
Spike Chunsoft has announced plans to roll out remastered versions of “Ever 17 – The Out Of Infinity” and “Never 7 – The End Of Infinity” for the Switch. For the first time, these titles will be fully localized when they hit the shelves on March 6. “Never 7” is set to be priced at $19.99 in the US, while “Ever 17” will cost $29.99. For those eager to dive into both, a dual pack option will be available at $44.99.
Initially, these adventures launched exclusively in Japan, with “Never 7” debuting in 2000 and “Ever 17” following in 2002. They form part of a gripping time-loop adventure series crafted by Kotaro Uchikoshi, who later gained fame with the Zero Escape series—titles like “999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, Nine Doors,” “Virtue’s Last Reward,” “Zero Time Dilemma,” as well as the “AI: The Somnium Files” series.
