Genshin Impact invites players on a captivating journey with Citlali and Ororon during the "Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls" event, the highlight of Version 5.2. Every update in Genshin Impact comes with a major storyline event that includes an engaging mix of mini-games and combat challenges. These flagship events are not only landmarks because of the enjoyable content they provide but also due to the desirable rewards – often a new character or weapon.
The arrival of Version 5.2 doesn’t just add playable characters like Chasca and Ororon to the roster but also introduces players to fresh new landscapes such as the Flowerfeather Clan and the Masters of the Night-Wind. Citlali and Ororon are key figures from this latter group, and given their popularity from Version 5.1, it was a no-brainer for the developers to use the Mictlan tribe as the setting for the latest event.
According to a recent official blog from Genshin Impact, "Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls" will run from November 28 through December 16. The event will feature a cooperative mini-game, a thrilling combat event, and a mind-bending puzzle game. Successfully completing these challenges will earn players various rewards, including Primogems, a Crown of Insight, and the stylish Calamity of Eshu sword. This 4-star sword, inspired by the aesthetics of the Masters of the Night-Wind, is particularly useful for Sword-wielding characters who rely on shields, like Clorinde or Ayato.
When diving into these event activities, players will be tasked with the following: first, they must tackle ‘Search for Lost Spirits’, a mini-game that involves herding evasive Roaming Spirits towards a designated Spirithub. Then, there’s ‘Evil Banisher’, a combat event where completing specific objectives triggers a powerful Banishing Aura that inflicts area damage. Lastly, in ‘Restoring Fragmented Records’, players will challenge their mind by reconstructing image fragments into their intended state.
Of course, rewards are a major draw of any event. For the Iktomi Spiritseeking Scrolls, players can look forward to:
-
Calamity of Eshu: This sword offers a base ATK of 565 with an additional 27.6% ATK. When characters are shielded, it boosts normal and charged attack damage by 20% and increases the crit rate for those attacks by 8%.
- Shuttle of Odara (Refinement)
- A Crown of Insight
- 790 Primogems
- 34 Hero’s Wit
- 680,000 Mora
To join Citlali and Ororon in their search for the wandering spirits, players must have completed Genshin Impact’s Prologue. However, for an optimal experience, it’s recommended to finish Act 4 of the Natlan storyline first. While this new sword may not perfectly suit any current Natlan characters, it could potentially align with future powerhouse characters like Iansan, Ifa, or the confirmed Cryo Sword user, Capitano.
