A recent stir in the gaming world had everyone buzzing, all thanks to Christopher Judge, the talented voice behind Kratos in the God of War series. However, despite the excitement, there isn’t a new God of War announcement on the horizon.
It’s hard to believe that it’s already been a couple of years since God of War Ragnarok graced our screens. Naturally, this gap has prompted fans to speculate about when Santa Monica Studio might reveal the next chapter in the epic saga. The rumor mill kicked into high gear last week when Christopher Judge took to Instagram Live. His comments sparked excitement, hinting at some major announcements coming within the next fortnight, and he specifically mentioned December 1 as a date to watch. “The next two weeks are gonna be chock-full of announcements and all kinds of good stuff,” he enthused. Judge even teased, “December 1st, we will be making a major announcement – which I can’t wait to do ’cause a lot of you asked me: ‘What’s coming next?'”
This was enough to send gamers into a frenzy, assuming that Sony had something God of War-related up its sleeve, despite Judge not explicitly mentioning the game by name. But in a twist of events, the anticipated announcements have nothing to do with Kratos. Christopher Judge took to Twitter to set the record straight, addressing the swirling rumors. He responded to a tweet regarding his earlier comments, asserting, “Absolutely not true! You can’t tease something you know nothing about. I will be making announcements in the near future.” He emphasized that none of these announcements are related to the beloved God of War, saying, “I am awaiting updates just like everyone else.”
So while there are indeed exciting announcements ahead featuring Judge, they’re not connected to Kratos or his mythical world. For Judge’s fans, this still promises to be thrilling news. However, God of War devotees might need to find solace in replaying the current games for now. Sorry folks, no new insights about our favorite Spartan warrior just yet!
