It’s been nearly a year since Asgard’s Wrath 2 first hit the scene, and it’s dealing with some unfinished business—namely, the mischievous chaos left behind by Loki. This comes to a head in the final new Cosmic Event of the game, aptly titled “The Trickster’s Legacy.”
Having launched last December, Sanzaru Games has diligently kept the VR action RPG fresh with a series of Cosmic Events. These are time-limited challenges, called Cosmic Objectives, that have taken players through some pretty wild adventures. You’ve likely battled a vampiric plague, navigated the complexities of the multiverse, and stood against Surtur’s challenging forces. Now, this concluding chapter calls you back to square off against Loki one more time.
In this event, you’re on a mission to set things right by fixing these twisted realities. Your tasks are varied: you’ll need to brave the ‘?’ doors scattered throughout the Uncharted Rifts, make it through some rather tricky trap rooms, and complete five divine trials in a single go. Additionally, you’ll be tidying up the Loki Anomalies across the overworld. Your rewards for these daring feats? The Staff of the Trickster, a replica of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s iconic horned helmet, and an assortment of emotes, badges, and titles to show off.
Although “The Trickster’s Legacy” wraps up the new content, it’s not curtains for the Cosmic Events as a whole. Sanzaru Games plans to reintroduce each event from the beginning through “Into the Multiverse,” giving players a second shot at snagging those coveted, time-restricted goodies.
On another note, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is rolling out an outfit that isn’t bound by any time constraints like those from the final event. Exclusive to Meta Quest+ subscribers, this addition features a stylish dinosaur-themed armor set straight from the island of Laramidia, complete with a matching stone blade.
For those yet to dive in or looking to continue their epic journey, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is available on the Meta Quest platform.
