Hello everyone! I’m Yasuyuki Oda, the producer of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Together with the dev team, we’re excited to dive into how you can leverage the REV System to face even the toughest adversaries. We’ll also showcase some impressive combos and talk about our plans for the Season 1 Pass DLC characters. So, without further ado, let’s get you geared up for the epic world of Fatal Fury!
### Get the Edge with the REV System
The secret to turning a losing battle into a victorious one lies in mastering the REV System. REV Arts are there to enhance your special moves, while REV Accel is your ticket to creating dazzling combos and keeping your opponent on their toes. You can also go on the defensive with the REV Guard button (R1) to fend off opponents and boost your winning chances. It’s activated with a single button press, making it perfect for predicting and thwarting cross-ups. This technique is particularly effective against Kain’s Schwarzes Rondo setups or aggressive moves following B. Jenet’s Gulf Tomahawk break. By pressing REV Guard, you can simultaneously execute other actions, like escaping a grab with a well-timed counter or using a hop to skillfully evade trouble. Try incorporating REV Guard into your wakeup routine for extra protection in your battles.
### Unleash a Variety of Slick Combos
What better way to flaunt the game’s standout combos than with our beloved returning characters—Mai Shiranui, Rock Howard, and Terry Bogard? Each character features step-by-step guides to help you master high-level combos, perfect for challenging friends or fighting online opponents worldwide.

### Season Pass 1 Welcomes 5 New Characters

Joe Higashi, the Muay Thai maestro, is noted for his friendly demeanor but fierce battle spirit. Joe’s comeback as part of the legendary trio with Terry and Andy is bound to excite fans when he lands this Fall.
The notorious antagonist from Art of Fighting, Mr. Big, is also back, flaunting his skill in bojutsu and scrappy street fighting tactics to ward off South Town’s fighters.
