Diablo Collaborates With Berserk

Big news for fans of the Diablo series: Blizzard has officially confirmed a crossover with the legendary anime and manga series, Berserk, for both Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal. Although the details are still somewhat scarce, it’s very likely that players will have the opportunity to grab some awesome Guts-themed gear, such as his trademark sword and armor, in both the console and mobile versions of the game.

This announcement came after Diablo 4 presented a 2025 roadmap, laying out what players can expect in future seasons of the action RPG. The chart initially received a lukewarm reception, but the mention of two exciting IP collaborations piqued fans’ curiosity, leading to much discussion about what these could entail.

Now, one of these anticipated crossovers has been revealed. Not just limited to Diablo 4, the Berserk collaboration will also extend to Diablo Immortal. Blizzard launched a teaser showcasing this exciting collaboration, with a short, animated video showing off a Barbarian adorned in Guts’ Berserker armor and wielding his colossal Dragon Slayer sword as he cuts through a swarm of demons. Talking about Berserk’s origins, the series first captivated audiences in 1988 under the creative genius of Kentaro Miura. Although Miura sadly passed away in 2021, his legacy continues as the manga lives on under the guidance of his colleague, Kouji Mori. Berserk’s reach has extended well beyond its manga roots, inspiring two anime adaptations, a trilogy of animated films, several video games, a novel, and even collaborations with other popular titles like Dragon’s Dogma.
