Rebellion is buzzing with excitement as they gear up to unleash the first-ever VR game from the Zombie Army series, ready to hit all the major VR headsets next month.
Slated for release on May 22nd, Zombie Army VR will be available for Quest 2 and newer models, PSVR 2, and SteamVR headsets, immersing players into the notorious zombie-slaying frenzy. You’ll join the ranks of the Deadhunters, an elite team determined to put an end to the undead apocalypse.
Rebellion invites you to battle through waves of zombies in the outskirts of Nuremberg’s bomb-ridden cityscape. Team up with Captain Hermann Wolff, the Deadhunter’s legendary leader, on his quest to reunite with his lost family and liberate Europe from the grip of a zombie apocalypse.
Zombie Army VR promises a captivating narrative campaign, which you can tackle solo or with a friend in a two-player co-op. The game reintroduces a classic World War II arsenal, including sniper rifles, submachine guns, and pistols—allowing for dual-wield action and manual racking.
As you dive deeper into the battle, you’ll earn experience points to boost your Deadhunter’s abilities. Weapon Upgrade kits will let you tweak the range, accuracy, scope, and capacity of your arsenal to suit your playstyle.
Prepare to face off against more than just typical zombie soldiers. The game features all your franchise favorites: Armored Giants, Suiciders, and Sniper Zombies. And returning from Rebellion’s Sniper Elite VR (2021) is the iconic X-ray Kill Cam, letting you savor those long-range shots in dramatic slow motion.
Zombie Army VR is now open for pre-orders on the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and above, the PlayStation Store for PSVR 2, and Steam for PC VR headsets. It’s available at a 10% discount off its usual $30 price, so don’t miss out on this deal.
