Nintendo really seems to have a fondness for releasing movies in the window of late March to early April.
Just today, the company revealed that the Legend of Zelda movie is set to hit theaters on March 26, 2027. This schedule mirrors the early April 2023 release of the first animated Super Mario Bros. movie, and its sequel is already lined up for an April launch next year.
As for the Legend of Zelda film, it’s a collaboration with Sony Pictures, but they’ve yet to announce the cast. Eager fans will have to wait a bit longer for more details on who will bring their favorite characters to life on the big screen.
