Commemorating 20 Years of Forza Motorsport: A Tribute to Fujimi Kaido

It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly two decades since the inaugural Forza Motorsport hit the shelves. That title marked the dawn of a journey that blended the realms of car enthusiasm and gaming, ultimately weaving a vibrant tapestry of dedicated fans. It’s a community fueled by a shared love for cars, a thirst for racing excellence, and a spark for creativity.

After launching our first game back in 2005, we embarked on a journey that saw us pushing the envelope with successive entries — from Forza Motorsport 2, 3, and 4 on the Xbox 360, moving through Forza Motorsport 5, 6, and 7 on the Xbox One, and culminating in the latest Forza Motorsport on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

As the 20th anniversary looms on the horizon, we’re thrilled to give you a sneak peek at what May has in store. With our newest update, fans will witness the return of a legendary track that holds a special place in Forza history.

Since Forza Motorsport’s recent release in October 2023, our team has embarked on a labor of love, bringing Fujimi Kaido up to modern standards—a monumental project and our largest track endeavor to date. Picture racing or drifting through the Full Circuit or its Reverse, a sprawling 10.24-mile (or 16.5 km) course punctuated by 144 hairpin turns and a breathtaking 2,711-foot summit.

Our mission? To recapture the thrilling essence of drifting with friends across these iconic Japanese mountain roads. We can’t wait for you to get sideways once more as we finesse Fujimi Kaido for its triumphant return this May.

But there’s more in store to mark our anniversary. Expect the introduction of fan-favorite cars, exclusive driver suits to unlock, and special events in both Career and Featured Multiplayer modes. Plus, brace yourself for new Rivals challenges and other surprises.
