This year, PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers are in for something special. Four exciting titles are set to join the Game Catalog as soon as they launch. Leading the pack is Remedy Entertainment’s multiplayer first-person shooter, FBC: Firebreak, which has announced a fresh release window in Summer 2025.
FBC: Firebreak takes players to the enigmatic Oldest House, the central hub of the Federal Bureau of Control, which fans recognize from the critically acclaimed game, Control. This time, however, Remedy Entertainment is taking a step away from their usual narrative-heavy style to focus on dynamic gameplay. They’re committed to creating a live-service experience without bombarding players with the usual FOMO gimmicks that this genre often falls into. Instead, all content will be open to everyone and can be enjoyed at any pace they prefer.
The latest trailer offers a glimpse into one of the game’s intriguing missions called the Paper Chase Job. Here, the Firebreak Initiative is tasked with clearing an area of the Oldest House overrun by rogue sticky notes. The trailer also gives a sneak peek into the various loadouts that players can use to combat the relentless Hiss threat.
When FBC: Firebreak rolls out, it’ll be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through both the Epic Games Store and Steam.
But that’s not all—FBC: Firebreak is just one of the four newcomers to the Game Catalog on launch day. Joining it are Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Blue Prince, and Abiotic Factor. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can dive into the first part of Lost Records right now, with the eagerly anticipated second part set to arrive next month.
In addition, PS Plus members gain early access to the PS Store’s Spring Sale. This means they can snag fantastic deals on top games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 immediately.
