SNEG has finally announced the release date for the much-anticipated adventure game, Captain Blood, set to launch on the Nintendo Switch.
Originally slated for the Xbox 360 back in 2010, Captain Blood hit a major snag when its publisher went bankrupt, leaving the game in limbo due to legal hurdles that kept the developers from releasing it. Now, 15 years later, those issues have been ironed out.
In the riveting story, you’ll play as Captain Blood, tasked with rescuing the magistrate’s daughter after she’s kidnapped. He’s no ordinary pirate captain—in fact, he’s the most rugged pirate to sip grog while charming ladies across the Spanish Main. Prepare for a series of epic adventures featuring everything from cannon blasts and pistol duels to thrilling sword fights and plenty of pirate escapades.
