Nacon’s UK website recently went live with a dedicated page for the Switch 2, giving us a glimpse of the accessories they’ll have ready for launch. Although some offerings, like carrying cases and screen protectors, might not exactly set your heart racing, there’s something of interest for fans of racing games. They’ve got two distinct steering wheels in the pipeline for the new, yet-to-be-named Mario Kart installment that was announced alongside the Switch 2 on January 16.
The first option is a pair of wheels priced at €9.90 (approximately $10 USD), while the second is a more sophisticated foldable model that offers a racing-setup feel for €29.90 (or about $30 USD). Now, it’s worth mentioning that neither of these is a full-fledged racing wheel controller. Instead, they are cleverly designed plastic frames that cradle the Switch 2’s wireless Joy-Cons. However, they might just hit the mark for Mario Kart enthusiasts who crave more substantial grips when navigating Donkey Kong’s eccentric tracks with motion controls.
