It seems like the iconic Christmas diva Mariah Carey could be making an appearance in the game, dressed in her signature red velvet, white fur-trimmed bodysuit from her famous “All I Want For Christmas Is You” music video. And she’s not the only one joining the festive fun. According to noted Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey, we might also see Snoop Dogg and Shaq sporting their own Santa-themed outfits as part of the holiday celebration.
This would be Mariah’s first venture into the Fortnite universe, and there couldn’t be a more fitting time than the holiday season to feature her. Her holiday anthem is practically synonymous with Christmas by now. Rumor has it that her character might emerge from an ice block located on the map, a playful nod to a viral joke from one of her own YouTube videos, where she humorously depicted herself as frozen in ice until the winter festivities kick-off.
As for whether Mariah will hit us with her famous whistle note singing “it’s time” once she breaks free from the ice, that’s a surprise we’re all eagerly hoping for!
