Devs United Games, the creative minds behind the Quest-exclusive hit Real VR Fishing, are set to cast a wider net as they launch the beloved virtual reality fishing experience on PC VR headsets next month.
Anticipated for an early December release on SteamVR, Real VR Fishing will bring the same exciting gameplay and pricing model that fans of the Quest version love. Upon release, gamers will have access to all downloadable content available on Steam, including the widely enjoyed US West Coast DLC, US East Coast DLC, and both parts of the Japan DLC.
At its core, the base game offers VR anglers 40 diverse fishing spots and a chance to catch over 150 different fish species. But that’s just the beginning. With the additional DLC packs, players can explore 95 more breathtaking fishing locations, with the opportunity to reel in over 300 unique species.
While the Quest version of Real VR Fishing allows players to enjoy both solo sessions and multiplayer experiences with up to four participants, the PC version, as clarified to Road to VR, won’t support cross-play multiplayer between Quest, Pico, and PC VR platforms.
There’s intriguing news for PC users—this version will enhance the experience with built-in YouTube and web browsing capabilities. Plus, players can look forward to monthly updates and the ability to personalize their aquariums.
Since its debut on Quest in late 2019, Real VR Fishing has reeled in accolades and become the top fishing game on the platform, boasting a stellar 4.6 out of 5 user rating from over 7,200 fishing enthusiasts.
As the clock ticks down to its early December release, you can add Real VR Fishing to your Steam wishlist right now. Dive into this immersive fishing adventure and see what the excitement is all about!
