We’ll have to exercise a bit more patience before diving into the new achievements in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, as the release of the Secrets of the Spires story pack has been pushed back slightly. Fortunately, it’s not a lengthy delay; the DLC will now launch on November 28.
Originally, Secrets of the Spires was scheduled to debut on November 26. The Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora team attributes this brief postponement to an “important last-minute issue.” In a message on X, the developers expressed their understanding of the anticipation, saying, “We know many of you are eagerly awaiting this new adventure in the Western Frontier, and we apologize for this delay. Our priority is delivering a high-quality, enjoyable, and memorable experience for all of our players.” The DLC rollout is now set to begin at 8am UTC / 9am CET / 12am PT on November 28.
While details about this new story pack remain sparse, we do know it will transport players to a fresh mountainous area known as the Spires of the Clouded Forest, promising some thrilling aerial combat. Additionally, the DLC will introduce five new achievements, which involve completing quests and unlocking Sky Hunter skills.
The short delay means we’ll be able to explore Secrets of the Spires slightly later this week, on November 28. It’s reassuring to see that the wait hasn’t been extended more than necessary, particularly given the already substantial list of Xbox games delayed out of 2024 so far.
