Treyarch has exciting news for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans—the highly anticipated Stakeout 24/7 playlist is making a comeback on November 27. This return is perfectly timed with the start of the 2XP event and the reintroduction of the much-loved Prop Hunt. Mark your calendars for 1 p.m. Eastern (that’s 6 p.m. GMT) because that’s when it’s set to go live, although recent updates have occasionally dropped a bit earlier.
For those who revel in the fast-paced chaos of Stakeout, you’re in for a treat. This map has generated plenty of buzz, sparking a mix of opinions. While favorites like Nuketown naturally stand out, Stakeout has carved out a solid fan base. Initially, I wasn’t sold on it, but after a few more rounds, its charm became undeniable.
This map is the epitome of frantic action. From the heart-pounding rush to the confined layout, there’s hardly a moment to breathe. If you pause, even for a second, you’re likely to get wiped out. When Stakeout 24/7 was removed before, the disappointment was palpable among players, but Treyarch has been responsive to fan feedback. So, alongside the ongoing 2XP celebrations and the lively Prop Hunt, both the regular and Hardcore Stakeout 24/7 versions are making a grand reentry.
Changes typically roll out around 1 p.m. Eastern, though they sometimes surprise us by launching earlier. On the Stakeout map, you’ll get to dive into various game modes: Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Kill Order, and Domination.
For those passionate about camo grinding, Stakeout proves to be a paradise. Its compact design translates to short match times, making it a favorite spot for unlocking those shiny gold and advanced camos. Take gold camo challenges, for instance, which require you to nail down 10 double kills with a weapon. Stakeout makes this challenge way more achievable. Even progressing to diamond, where you need three kills without dying on ten occasions, becomes manageable once you’re familiar with the map’s layout.
Personally, I’ve been slacking on my camo challenges, but with the upcoming playlist event, Stakeout will become my go-to map. I plan to check off as many challenges as possible while the event is live.
