It’s been a month since Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 landed on Xbox Game Pass, joining various platforms like the Xbox Series X|S. From the get-go, it smashed records during its opening weekend, and now Activision has delivered even more impressive news.
Through their social media channels, Activision has announced that Black Ops 6 has marked the most significant launch in Call of Duty history within its first month.
Activision shared: “In the first 30 days following its release, you all made Black Ops 6 the biggest Call of Duty title ever… Cheers to the Call of Duty community for ensuring Black Ops 6’s launch is one for the history books.”
This remarkable achievement encompasses records for the highest “total players,” the longest “hours played,” and the most “total matches.”
In a tweet from the official Call of Duty account, they extended their gratitude to the community for making Black Ops 6’s launch legendary.
Adding to the buzz, Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella also highlighted in October that Black Ops 6 was the “largest” Call of Duty release to date. Interestingly, a recent update shows that its presence on Xbox Game Pass hasn’t dampened overall sales.
